The Witching Hour

The Witching Hour is a psychological horror short directed by Craig Ford and produced by Pardon Our French.

A young boy, mourning his father’s death, faces bullying and struggles with his identity. At night, his bedroom becomes a space of terror as strange sounds and shadows seem to haunt him. As grief and fear intertwine, the line between imagination and reality blurs. Featuring Harriet Thorpe as the boy’s mother, the film explores loss, queerness, and psychological trauma through the lens of classic horror style.
