A Wild Life

A Wild Life is a meditative short film about loss, companionship, and rediscovering purpose. Chester, an aging man overwhelmed by grief after losing his wife, retreats into nature believing his life has reached its end. His plans are interrupted when he encounters Arthur, a young Boy Scout who has been injured and separated from his group.

Reluctantly at first, Chester helps the boy navigate the wilderness. As they walk, sing, and share moments of quiet vulnerability, something shifts. The forest becomes more than a backdrop—it becomes a space for reflection and renewal. Though simple in structure, A Wild Life is heartfelt and sincere, offering a reminder that healing can arrive unexpectedly, through nature, time, and the people who cross our path.
