Jesse

Jesse is a powerful short drama about identity, family, and the fragile path toward acceptance. The story follows Jesse, a fiercely independent mixed-race trans teen who travels from Switzerland to reconnect with her estranged father Marcus. Still clinging to Jesse’s former identity as his son Blake, Marcus struggles to understand who his child truly is. As they drive to visit Marcus’s deeply religious mother on her deathbed, unresolved tension rises inside the car. A difficult deal between father and daughter forces both of them to confront fear, love, and the possibility of change.
